On the 19th of December 2021, the ceremony of dedication for Holy Spirt Missionary Association (HSMA) membership was held at the chapel of Yagoto Convent, Provincial House of the Holy Sprit Sisters in Japan. Eleven people dedicated themselves to HSMA membership. The ceremony was originally planned to be held on Pentecost last year, however, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it was postponed more than six months. It was a good additional preparation period for us. Sr. L.M SSpS had been leading us through our learning period before each one of us decided to dedicate ourselves. Based on such themes as prayer, mission, discernment, justice and peace, each session offered us an opportunity to reflect on our Christian way of life.

We are expected to strive to live and share with the sisters the spirituality, charism and mission as a member. We will continue to serve the mission of the Holy Spirit with the Holy Spirit Sisters, aiming to create and expand new activities, while sharing our experiences.

The dedication ceremony was solemn but filled with warm and welcoming atmosphere created by sisters.

Each one of us was presented with a medal with the symbol of the Holy Spirit engraved and a candle. In addition, a beautiful card made by the sisters carried a warm and encouraging message, which helped us feel welcomed to the Arnoldus Family.
