"We got a letter from Sisters!" -Sharing the joy of Easter-
2021-05-04
In the kindergarten, 4-6 years (middle and senior classes) old children did Egg Hunt as a part of the Easter celebration.
They doubled the joy by exchanging the found gacha balls (a vending machine-dispensed capsule) for decorated real boiled eggs.
Egg cellophanes were pasted by senior class and delivered them in a basket to the younger class. Every day they express the joy of growing up and being older.
In the afternoon, small messengers were sent to the sisters in the convent. They thanked the sisters for their daily support in prayer and said, "We decorated these eggs. Please enjoy eating."
Two days later, the children received a mail from the sisters. They got very excited upon seeing used stamps affixed on the envelope for they looked like a real letter! “We should write back,” the some suggested. “Then maybe they might respond again,” others said hopefully. Still after taking their nap, one boy happily told me, "We got a letter from Sisters!" The sister’s simple and creative thought- fulness made the children's hearts so happy that stimulated them to want to do something again. It was a wonderful sharing of the Easter’s joy
